The kept release — cheaper, and where the LoRA presets still work
WAN 2.5 is Alibaba Tongyi Lab’s earlier video model, available on Ochra for text-to-video and image-to-video. It generates clips with synchronised audio at a lower price than WAN 3.0, and is kept in the catalogue for cost and for compatibility with existing LoRA presets.

What is different about WAN 2.5
- Superseded by 3.0 on quality, and kept for two specific reasons rather than out of inertia: it costs less, and trained action presets target it.
