Terms

The agreement between you and us: what you may do with the platform, what we owe you, how credits work, and what happens when something goes wrong.

01The agreement

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are using it for an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your agreement is with the company named under “Who operates this service” at the end of this page. Where a governing law is stated there, these terms are governed by it. Throughout this document, “we” and “us” mean that company, and the product name refers to the software it operates.

02Who may use it

  • You must be at least 18.
  • You must not be barred from using the service under the laws that apply to you.
  • One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done with your credentials.
  • Some models and tools are gated behind a trust status. Access to those is granted by us and may be withdrawn.

03Credits

Credits are a prepaid balance you spend on generations. They are not currency, they carry no cash value, and they cannot be transferred between accounts.

  • The price of a generation is set by the published pricing engine and depends on the tool, the model, the resolution and the duration. The tool shows the exact figure before you generate, and that figure is what is charged.
  • Credits are held when a task starts and settled when it completes. A failed task releases the hold — you are not charged for output you did not receive.
  • Credits you buy do not expire while your account is open.
  • A credit pack is a one-off purchase: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
  • A plan is a recurring charge, billed monthly or yearly until you cancel it. Its credits refill at the start of every month, on a yearly plan too, and whatever is left of a month's credits does not carry into the next month. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from Billing; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and until then your credits keep refilling every month.

04Apps you connect

If you connect an app to your account — an AI assistant, for example — what it starts for you is charged to your balance at the same prices, exactly as if you had pressed Generate yourself. You choose what it may use, and you can change that or disconnect it at any time in Settings.

05Your content and what you may do with it

You keep the rights to what you upload. As between you and us, you own what you generate, and you may use it commercially.

You grant us the limited licence we need to run the service: to store your files, to send them to a model provider to fulfil the generation you asked for, and to show them back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies inside backups that are on a rolling deletion cycle.

We do not use your uploads, your prompts or your generations to train any model. Your content is sent to a model provider only to fulfil the generation you asked for. The providers’ own terms govern their handling of API traffic; see the point below on provider terms.

  • You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload — including the right to use any person’s likeness that appears in it.
  • AI output may not be copyrightable in some jurisdictions, and similar output may be produced for other users. We do not warrant that any generation is unique.
  • You must comply with the terms of the underlying model providers where those are stricter than ours.
  • If you attach a recording of a voice for a model to speak in, you confirm that it is your own voice or that you have the speaker’s permission to use it this way. We record that confirmation with the generation.

06The editing service

When you ask us to edit your material, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it — including the likeness and voice of every person in it, and any music. Pressing Generate is that confirmation. An order placed for you by an app you connect to your account counts as pressing Generate: the app confirms this for you when it places the order, and it holds credits the same way.

You give us a limited licence to open, download and edit that material only to deliver your request, and to keep it only as long as that takes. We make the edit with AI tools, and your material is processed by those tools to make it. If you tick “You may show this edit as an example” on a request, you also let us show that edit, and a short clip of it, on this site and our social media pages until you untick it; we never show it otherwise.

We may decline a request, or stop work on it, if we believe the material infringes someone’s rights or breaks the content policy. If we do, every credit held for it goes back to your balance.

Generate holds the top of the estimate. We charge the final amount when we deliver and return the rest. You can ask us to cancel a request at any time before we deliver it: if we haven’t begun editing, all of it comes back; once we have, we confirm what comes back before anything changes.

If you don’t approve a delivery or ask for changes within 48 hours of it, the request completes automatically. If you message us or add links after a delivery, that wait pauses until we reply, and you have 48 hours from our reply.

Once delivered, the finished files are yours, on the same terms as anything else you make here.

07Acceptable use

The content policy is part of these terms. In short: nothing involving minors, nothing involving a real person’s likeness without their consent, nothing illegal, and nothing that attacks the platform itself.

The full list, and how we enforce it, is in the content policy.

08Availability

We aim to keep the service running and publish a live status indicator, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Model providers go down, and when they do, the tools that depend on them do too. Where a provider outage causes a task to fail, the credit hold is released.

The models on offer change. Providers release, update, and retire models, and we add and remove them — pricing in credits can change with them. Removing a model never removes your credits: they remain spendable on everything else.

09Suspension and termination

  • You can close your account at any time from settings.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the content policy. Where we do, we tell you what was found and give you a route to appeal, unless the law forbids us from telling you.
  • Serious breaches — anything involving a minor above all — result in immediate closure and, where the law requires it, a report.

10Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability is capped and we exclude indirect and consequential loss.

11Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance. If you do not accept, close your account.
