Ochra Recast — put yourself into a video and keep the original sound
Ochra Recast takes a 4–30 second video clip and a photo of a face, and rebuilds the clip with that person in it. The clip's motion, framing, timing, length and shape stay as they were, and its own soundtrack is copied back onto the result. You pay per second of the clip, and the price shows before you generate.
- Clip: 4–30 seconds
- Up to 30 photos
- 480p · 720p · 1080p
- Original sound kept
The template opens the studio with Ochra Recast already chosen and its clip attached; add your photo. For your own clip, open the studio and choose Ochra Recast from the model list.
Three steps
Add your clip
One video, 4 to 30 seconds long. The result comes back the same length and shape, with the same framing, camera movement and timing.
Add a photo of the face
One is enough; up to 30 are accepted. Ochra Recast uses it for the face, hair, skin tone and build, and asks the model to keep the clip's clothing and setting.
Say what else should change, or nothing
Leave the prompt empty and Ochra Recast writes the edit instruction for you: replace the person the shot follows with the person in your photo, and keep everything else. Add a sentence to change more.

Only faces you have the right to use
Ochra Recast puts the face from your photo into someone's footage, so both need permission: the face must be yours or used with that person's consent, and you need the right to use the clip.

A devotional film in low golden haze: saffron flags above a crowd of hundreds, hands folded, and one singer at the front lifting the brass lamp. Send one photograph and the singer is you. The crowd, the flags, the lamp, the light and the grade are untouched — the film is rebuilt frame for frame and only the face at the front changes.
Ochra Recast questions
It asks the model to keep the clip's framing, camera movement and timing, and everyone and everything else in the shot, and the result comes back the same length and shape as the clip. The sound is not generated: the clip's own soundtrack is copied back onto the result untouched, and a clip with no sound comes back silent.
The person the shot follows. Ochra Recast asks the model to take the face, hair, skin tone and build from your photo — not its clothing, pose or background — and to match mouth movement to the speech already in the clip. Add a sentence to the prompt to change anything else. It is a generated edit, so results vary from run to run, and each run is charged.
Between 4 and 30 seconds, one clip per run. The result is as long as the clip. A longer video has to be trimmed first.
One photo of the face is enough, and you can add up to 30. You can also mark a photo as a reference for the setting rather than for the person.
480p, 720p (the default) and 1080p. A higher resolution costs more per second.
It is charged by the second of your clip: about 2.6 credits (≈ $0.15) a second at 480p, about 5.8 credits (≈ $0.33) a second at 720p and about 14.3 credits (≈ $0.82) a second at 1080p. The clip's length is rounded to the nearest second, and the exact price shows before you press Generate. Prices as of 2026-09-28.
