Kling

Kuaishou’s video line — from silent drafts to 4K, with sound where you want it

Kling is Kuaishou’s video line. The 3.0 line adds 4K and a wider choice of clip lengths; its Omni tier takes several reference images and a reference clip, and its Turbo tier always renders sound. 2.6 generates sound on request, and 2.5 Turbo is the silent row.

Strengths and limits

Strengths and limits

Key Features

  • Several ways to start a shot: a first frame on every row, a first and last frame on 2.6 and 3.0 Omni, and reference images plus a reference clip on 3.0 Omni.
  • Sound is a switch on 3.0 and 2.6 — pay for it only when the clip needs it.
  • Kuaishou built the 3.0 line for narrative control and consistency, with 4K on its base and Omni rows.

Where it falls down

  • Shorter maximum clip length than WAN 3.0 or Seedance 2.5.
  • 4K on the 3.0 line costs several times the 1080p price for the same length — check the price table before rendering a long shot.
  • 2.5 Turbo generates no sound, and only 2.6 and 3.0 Omni take a last frame.
